10 Day Outback Queensland Tour
Day 1
Your tour starts when we pick you up from your Gold Coast accommodation at 6am. We will make our first stop at Toowoomba for a coffee at Picnic Point, lunch stop along the way. We continue west to the Nindigully Pub, our camp for the night will be along the banks of the Moonie River in front of the Nindigully Pub. Shower and toilet facilities available at the pub.
Dinner at the Nindigully Pub at your expense.

Day 2
Start the day with a leisurely walk beside the Moonie river, before we travel to Eulo via St George, Cunnamulla, with lunch along the way. Stay the night at the spectacular red soil mulga country, Wandilla Station, Eulo. Showers and toilets available.

Day 3
Start the day with a look around the town of Thargomindah opal shops, town centre and surrounds then we will make our way through the Strzelecki Desert Channel Country, Burke and Wills Depot Camp visiting the dig tree on the Cooper Creek, stony desert landscape and much more. Stopping for morning tea and lunch along the way. Visit the famous Innamincka Pub for dinner (at your expense). Camping tonight at the Innamincka Town Common on the banks of the Cooper Creek, showers and toilets available.

Day 4
Today we explore Innamincka town and surrounds.
Innamincka is located on the banks of the Cooper Creek in north-east South Australia and has a permanent population of about 12-15 people. It is a fascinating area rich in natural, Indigenous, pastoral and explorer history. The Innamincka Regional Reserve spans a total of 1.3 million hectares and is home to 200 species of birds, many native animals and reptiles. Explore the restored Australian Inland Mission building and spot local wildlife.

Day 5
We will leave Innamincka driving north on the Cordillo Downs Road to Birdsville, along the way we will stop at the largest sheep shearing shed in Australia at Cordillo Downs Station. Camping tonight at the Birdsville Caravan Park, showers and toilets available.

Day 6
Today we will explore the town of Birdsville, visit the Birdsville Bakery home to the famous camel pie, have a beer at the iconic Birdsville Pub, walk around the streets taking in the history of this remote outback town. We will take the 35km drive to Big Red on the edge of the Simpson Desert to watch the sun go down over the desert. Camping at the Birdsville Caravan Park, showers and toilets available. Day 8
Today we leave Birdsville and head down the Birdsville Development Road to Quilpie staying at The Lake camping area. Relax by the lake taking in the beauty and bird life. Showers and toilets available.

Day 9
Early start from The Lake camping ground following the Warrego Highway through Charleville to Roma for the last nights camp.

Day 10
Visit the Big Rig and the Roma Sale Yards as we leave the town heading for home via Miles, Chinchilla, Dalby and Toowoomba.
Arrive back on the Gold Coast by 6pm.
